I'd thought I've left him behind, however I've proven myself wrong.
The things it takes for me to realise how much I miss him often present themselves in the simplest littlest ways;
Just enough to rekindle the tiny spark of love for him in me that I thought was diminished long ago.
Yet, it'd been overlooked to have actually settled to stay, like old habits that die hard- so much so a part of you that you hardly ever notice it stubbornly sticks already, no matter how you try to change and shake it off.
Quite impossible really;
Have you seen anyone without their shadow?
Once upon a time, he'd been my sun, a special someone who promised he'll be there for me to drive away the darkness, and I'd been like the sunflower, always looking upon him to brighten up my day when skies were grey. He'd offered the warmth of his embrace, the sunshine of his smile, the light of his comforting words and the illumination of my world by his mere presence.
The sun always casts a shadow and it follows you faithfully. Similarly, the past memory of him is deeply etched in the mind, very much unforgettable 'cause you'll be reminded of it every now and then.
And I never knew I could love anyone that much.

TODAY'S MY NINTH DAY AT WORK! =DD
Surprisingly, I was able to stand the long hours of the job.
Don't play play, being on your feet for 12 whole hours is not as easy as it sounds okay! In fact it's pretty demanding and torturous! =X
Rather worried and nervous before actually going to work cause I was afraid I wouldn't get along well with my fellow co-worker as well as unable to do the work well and handle any tricky situations. However, things have been going along okay up till now. LUCKY LUCKY! (:
For the first three days of work, I was scheduled to Dhoby Ghaut, the pasar malam look-alike place beside Plaza Singapura's Starbucks. The location was alright, except for the occasional ALs and ABs and the sometimes warm weather. Ah San was my partner, and she's not too bad to work with. Switched to a quite okay auntie on the third day of work. Then was told that I'll be transferred to the Toa Payoh branch on the fourth day. Colleague was Ah San again! Hoho. This time, we had more to talk about. She taught me quite a lot of stuff and how to do what. ^^
And and! There was a frigging unreasonable cum ridiculous cheena lady customer who blamed us for causing her two dollars a pair of ear studs to be broken. Like so what the hell luh! How can she anyhow claim that we were at fault when we didn't even lay our hands on her studs! Still complained that we gave her mismatching stud stoppers and made it impossible to take off them from the studs somemore! Zzzzz. She bought the ear studs the previous day and came back angry the next day. Was somewhat pissed with her and when she showed me the spoilt studs I took off the stoppers in her face and asked her smugly and 'sourly': 'CANNOT TAKE OFF MEH? How come I can?'
HAHAHA. She pretended not to hear what I said, ignoring my question and continued blabbering about how we were to blame, even demanding for our boss' number to reason it out with her. And I felt she was contradicting herself when she stated that: 'I'm not coming back here because of the meager $2 okay, it's just that I feel I need to let you know that it's wrong of you to give people mismatching stoppers!' Guess what she said later? 'Well, I don't care, just return me my $2!'
LOLLLLLLLLL! So much for the meager $2 huh? It's as if she's slapping her own mouth with her words can. Oh well, people nowdays are really, really weird. Take another auntie for example. She came to our shop today and began looking at the different earrings. Then asked for our opinions. Like that still not enough, she started enquiring other customers for their views! Sort of harrassing luh, I wonder why they even answer her. In the end, the auntie TOOK TWO PAIRS OF EARRINGS OF THE
EXACTLY SAME DESIGN AND ASKED US WHICH ONE LOOKS BETTER! I was like, aren't they the same? =.='''
And and! I got to know a little girl called Si Hui! She's in primary five and she's uber daring can. Haha. I'm her jiejie! True to promise, she visited us two days in a row to drive away some of our boredom- though in a point of time she somewhat got into our way when working. =/
Tomorrow I'll be down at Yishun, with a brand new co-worker! Hopefully things will be smooth-sailing for me! Fingers crossed~
